The Houston Bulk Materials Handling Society (HBMHS), know as HMHS before, was founded in 1989 is an organization of Engineering, Operating, Manufacturing and Supply professionals involved in Solids Processing.

The HBMHS is composed of

  • Engineers from major engineering firms in Houston that design Solids Processing systems
  • Engineers from operating companies that operate solids processing systems
  • Reps and distributors dedicated to supplying solids processing products and services
  • Manufacturers that provide solids processing products

OBJECTIVES

To promote the discipline of solids processing through educational meetings, seminars, and trade shows.

To establish and maintain contact between members and all other influential bodies (technical, educational, research, legislative) in order to stay abreast with developments affecting the solids processing industry.

To promote education at the undergraduate level and continuing education at the post graduate level.
